Nat Geo of operating systems (OSes)

No matter from where you first hear about them, naturally, some people will get curious about a new/alternative OS and how it looks like as compared to the one they’re currently on. Sure you can use google images, but that’s more like a museum with static displays. Osvids.com on the other hand is more like a OS zoo, where you can watch live OSes in their natural habitat, doing things that, well, what OSes do. Aside from offering helpful previews into the look and feel of an operating system, it has videos that will walk you through how to install them. It’s a niftty site for the timid newbie to take a look before taking the proverbial leap.

p.s- kept this post for a couple of months and Shockw@ave beat me to publishing first on his blog so might as well publish it now 😛
