I finally got Leopard to work in VMWare… With a pre-made virtual machine I downloaded “as-is”.
Just look for “pcwiz leopard vmware image” to find it… Worked like a charm ^^

Same as Hawk (dec 2007) : I get the splash screen and the spinning icon.
It’s been something like 2 hours now and I don’t think waiting will do the trick…
Anyone had this problem ?

im getting this error on VMWare: http://img444.imageshack.us/img444/835/vmwarear3.jpg

this happens after i boot from the Virtual CDROM Drive using Alcohol — the Apple splash screen would display then that error pops up.

Any workaround will be appreciated.im using VMWare GSX Server 3.0.

hI,

I tried for ages to get this to work. I got to a stage where I was getting the com.apple.boot.plist’ and other erros using a virtual drive on Daemon tools. So I burned the image with Alchohol 120.

Having burned the image with Alchoho, I am using VM Ware as virtual machine, the DVD boots (using the -v option). However just as the grey Mac screen appears, the system reboots.

So it’s progress, but not concluded yet!

Any help/advice would be grately appreciated.

Sorry, that doesn’t cut it. That is theft. I’m a programmer and when someone steals my work, it is theft, pure and simple.

The EULA states it MUST operate on Apple hardware. Thus, using it on DIFFERENT hardware violates the EULA and it is not a legal copy.

Sorry, whatever your instructions, they fail at the second “step 2″.

The ONLY way you can obtain a legal copy is buy running it on Apple hardware. Any other hardware is illegal.

My error is that I always get this error: ATA disk: Checksum cookie not valid. Is this a problem or what, cause it’s the last line on the whole thing. Oh and if the guy (or girl who posted about the * and “, Thanks.
